Accounting Staff

We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Staff to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and developing key financial projections. A strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, and cost accounting is essential. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a knack for turning data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records regularly.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flow.

Financial Projections and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Create detailed budgets and compare actual results against projected figures, providing variance analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, highlighting key trends and financial performance indicators.

Cost and Inventory Management:

  • Track and analyze supply chain costs, including procurement, logistics, and warehousing.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Calculate and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS), identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage and report on inventory valuation, including obsolescence and shrinkage.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).

  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP).
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
