Job Title: Jira Administrator

Location: Manila or Cebu (Hybrid Setup)

Work Schedule: Graveyard Shift, 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Jira Administrator to manage, configure, and maintain our Jira environment. This role ensures Jira is optimized for business needs, supports users across multiple teams, and implements custom solutions to improve processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in Jira administration and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Jira projects, workflows, screens, and permissions.
  • Administer user accounts, groups, and roles with proper access controls.
  • Implement and maintain Jira plugins and integrations (Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Troubleshoot system performance, scalability, and technical issues.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and custom workflows to support business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Ensure proper data backup, recovery, and system reliability.
  • Stay updated on Jira best practices and new features for continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Jira administration experience (configuration, customization, maintenance).
  • Strong technical background with Java, XML, and SQL.
  • Experience with Jira plugins/integrations (Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred/ Nice to Have

  • Experience with Jira Cloud/Server, migrations, or upgrades.
  • Knowledge of Python, Groovy, or scripting for automation.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
  • Atlassian or Jira certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence or Bitbucket.
