Responsibilities:

  • Provides day-to-day management of Azure environments - provisioning, monitoring, backup, patching, and incident resolution.
  • Implements standard changes and ensures environmental stability and compliance.
  • Executes incident, request, and change management aligned with ITIL processes.
  • Monitors performance, security alerts, and resource utilization, escalating as needed.
  • Participates in cloud onboarding and migration activities.
  • Documents procedures, updates runbooks, and supports service improvement plans.
  • Supports reporting and client updates as part of BAU operations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Azure Resource Manager, VM management, networking (VNet, NSG, VPN), and storage.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, and Defender for Cloud.
  • Familiar with ITIL processes (incident, request, change management).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ManageEngine, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
  • Competence in incident resolution and service restoration.
  • Can interpret monitoring alerts and respond promptly.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity in Azure.

  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ priority training/certification
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
