JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support and enhance our growing IT environment. This role blends hands-on systems administration with engineering and design responsibilities. You'll be involved in building secure, scalable infrastructure, automating processes, and supporting migrations and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Infrastructure Design: Architect and configure networks, VLANs, and related systems.
  • Automation & Scripting: Create and maintain PowerShell and other scripts to streamline processes.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage Microsoft 365 tenants, security, licensing, and user services.
  • Migrations & Integrations: Lead and support migrations (on-premises, cloud, tenant-to-tenant) and API-driven integrations.
  • System Reliability: Monitor and maintain uptime, security, and performance across servers, endpoints, and cloud services.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT leadership to evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or engineering.
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts (VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and migrations.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure AD, Intune, or other cloud management tools.
  • Background in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, or Proxmox).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile environments with Jira or other Scrum tools.
