About the Job:

The Accounting Associate (Project-Based) will support the Finance Team in clearing accounting backlogs, with a strong focus on transactional clean-up, reconciliation, and documentation. The role requires advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, and support in AP, AR, and general ledger cleanup to ensure accurate financial reporting and audit readiness. This is a project-based role, and the engagement will be until the successful completion of the accounting backlog.

What you can offer:

  • Update and verify financial records using QuickBooks
  • Ensure all historical transactions are accurately entered and categorized
  • Support the integration and cleanup of backlog data in the system
  • Perform bank reconciliation and resolve inconsistencies
  • Validate, record, and settle outstanding vendor invoices (AP)
  • Review and follow up on unpaid invoices (AR) and reconcile client accounts
  • Work with internal teams to gather necessary supporting documents
  • Maintain an organized and auditable trail of all updates made during the project

Great to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
