Specific Duties & Responsibilities

A. Financial Accounting

  1. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports.

a. Check financial data or schedules prepared by direct reports

b. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.

c. Prepare horizontal and vertical analysis.

d. Prepare variance analysis to budget and forecast.

  1. Ensure timely submission of required Government and other reports

a. Prepare financial data and/or reports needed by investors. NSO, BSP, BIR, SEC and other agencies.

b. Prepare quarterly and annual Income Tax Return for BIR

c. Check remittances on withholding taxes, VAT and other remittances.

B. Managerial Accounting Information

a. Provide financial data needed in the performance evaluation of employees.

b. Provides proper costing of all products and services of the hospital

C. Division Administration and Management

  1. Oversee the operations of Accounting Division and assigned staff.

  2. Lead in the compliance with existing policies, agreements, and regulations.

D. Business knowledge and Operations Budget Management

  1. Manage the preparation and implementation of the Division's budget, consistent with annual operating plans of the business

  2. Keeps abreast of business operational issues and concerns, and recommends timely and appropriate solutions

Qualifications

  • University degree in Accounting or related fields
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Comprehensive understanding of the entire financial reporting cycle including the other inter-related cycles of inventory and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledgeable on basic regulatory requirements of government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission, Local Government Unit and other government agencies.
  • Experience in a computer-based Accounting Information System
  • At least five (5) years work experience as a Manager in a Finance Department/Group from a reputable company, preferably in a Healthcare facility
