JOB SUMMARY
The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing product development, strategy, and market positioning to drive business growth. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and identifying customer needs to develop competitive and innovative products. The Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and R&D, to ensure seamless product execution. Additionally, they are responsible for managing the product lifecycle, optimizing pricing strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role also includes monitoring product performance, gathering customer feedback, and making data-driven decisions to enhance market competitiveness and profitability.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, coordinating with internal departments such as sales, production, and logistics to provide effective and timely solutions
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, gathering feedback on products, services, and customer experiences to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention, loyalty, and satisfaction, utilizing data analytics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Identifying the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry
- Working with the team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
- Prepares annual Marketing Plan for the assigned products. This plan, at the minimum, contains the annual forecast, promotional budget and promotional strategies of each product
- Provides needed analysis to support product portfolio planning. Provides useful insights and perspectives to prioritize development programs
- Maintains awareness of competitive products, potential competitive products, competitors, and competitor capabilities
- Actively collects and analyzes data on competitors and helps to organize this data into meaningful information
- Effectively uses competitive information in the development of a new product, able to identify strengths and weaknesses of proposed products relative to the competition, anticipate competitive responses, and consider competitive actions in the development of sales projections
- Uses a reasoned approach to develop forecasts of customer demand and maintain forecasts as customer demand changes
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field
- 2-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management, marketing, or a related role
- Strong analytical skills for market research, competitive analysis, and trend identification in the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven ability to develop strategic product roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Experience in regulatory affairs and compliance within the pharmaceutical sector
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, regulatory affairs, and R&D
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management, from development to commercialization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging internal teams, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools for data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to market changes and industry trends
Working Condition:
- On-site Reporting
- 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
