PRODUCTION MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OVERSEEING THE DAILY OPERATIONS OF THE MANUFACTURING FLOOR, ENSURING EFFICIENT PRODUCTION, HIGH QUALITY OUTPUT AND ADHERENCE TO SAFETY STANDARDS. THE ROLE INVOLVES MANAGING STAFF, OPTIMIZING PROCESSES, AND COORDINATING WITH OTHERDEPARTMENTS TO MEET PRODUCTION GOALS.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • MANAGE DAILY PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES- SUPERVISE AND COORDINATE ALL PRODUCTIONOPERATIONS TO ENSURE SMOOTH WORKFLOW AND TIMELY OUTPUT.
  • CHECKING OUT THE PRODUCTION PLANNING- DEVELOPS PRODUCTION SCHEDULES BASED ON SALES FORECAST, RESOURCE AVAILABILITY AND DEADLINES.
  • ENSURE PRODUCT QUALITY-MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS BY ENFORCING QUALITY CONTROL PROCEDURES AND RESOLVING ISSUES QUICKLY.
  • COLLABORATE ACROSS DEPARTMENTS- WORK CLOSELY WITH PROCUREMENT,LOGISTICSAND SALES TO ALIGN PRODUCTION WITH CUSTOMER DEMANDS.
  • OPTIMIZE RESOURCE UTILIZATION-MANAGE MATERIALS,LABOR,AND EQUIPTMENT TO REDUCE WASTE AND CONTROL COST.
  • RESOLVE OPERATIONAL ISSUES-QUICKLY ADDRESS PRODUCTION BOTTLENECKS,DELAYS OR QUALITY CONCERNS.
  • REPORTING & DOCUMENTATION-MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS OF INCIDENTS AND PERFORMANCE REPORTS.
  • INVENTORY MANAGEMENT-MAINTAIN OPTIMAL INVENTORY LEVELS TO SUPPORT PRODUCTION WHILE MINIMIZING EXCESS STOCK.
  • PRODUCTION CONTROL-ENSURES THAT PRODUCTION PLANS ARE EXECUTED EFFICIENTLY,ADJUSTING WORKFLOWS AS NEEDEDTO MEET TARGETS.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP-SUPERVISE PRODUCTION SUPERVISORS AND OTHER PERSONNEL, ASSIGN TASK, AND ENSURE HIGH PERFORMANCE THROUGH COACHING AND ONCE A WEEK MEETING TO MEET THE DEMAND OUTPUT AND TO DISCUSS THE ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.
