  • Reviews processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
  • Directs or coordinates production, processing, and distribution of manufactured products.
  • Develops or implements production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production challenges.
  • Sets and monitors product standards, examines samples of raw products or directs testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
  • Requests and maintains inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
  • Organizes and plans delivery or distribution of supplies to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
  • Plans production commitments or timetable for business units, specific programs, or jobs, using sales forecast.
  • Initiates or coordinates inventory or cost control programs.
  • Maintains current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current trends, technological advances, or statistical studies.
  • Negotiates materials prices with suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering/Food Technology
  • Candidate must possess 5 years of working experience in a food manufacturing set up and Production Management.
  • With HACCP & GMP Certification.
