SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

As a
Senior Application Group Specialist
, you will be responsible in implementing and maintaining Application Systems that runs on specific operating systems and utilities ensuring unhampered flow of information and connectivity across business work units and end-users in the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Reviews and analyzes existing application systems, data logic and functionalities by evaluating procedures and processes to determine information requirements and other operations data needs.

• Provides access to authorized users by issuing password authority and monitors usage to help ensure integrity, security and confidentiality of systems.

• Confers with concerned superiors and users in gathering information, user testing and acceptance to align department requirements with approved information-related policies and procedures.

• Develops and submits a comprehensive documentation for each system, method or application-related improvements to ensure continuous compliance with systems objectives.

• Conducts test of acquired or developed computer programs by actual usage and trial runs to determine if features are in accordance with requirements prior to actual user implementation.

• Provides immediate support and technical assistance to users on problems encountered in data retrieval and access difficulty, etc. by analyzing source problem and providing solutions through program fix and performing data fix as needed, etc., thereon.

• Analyzes and plots master file maintenance requirements in accordance with templates and guidelines provided in Quality Management System (QMS) to help ensure proper coding for assigned Master Files, including new product developments and change of raw materials.

• Evaluates, troubleshoots, documents, upgrades and builds up maintenance procedures for application systems.

• Provides management with accurate data for analysis and decision making by generating various reports relating to ERP and SAP.

• Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Work experience:

• Graduate of any bachelors degree course.

• 3 to 5 years professional experience in management information systems.

• With industry exposure in Manufacturing and/or FMCG industry is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong background in SAP PP and SAP MM.

• Strong understanding of information-related policies and procedures.

• Excellent documentation skills, including developing comprehensive documentation for system improvements and compliance.

• Experience in conducting tests for computer programs, ensuring features meet requirements before user implementation.

• Ability to provide immediate technical support and assistance to users, resolving data retrieval and access issues effectively.

• Proficiency in generating various reports related for accurate data analysis and decision-making support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Work Arrangement:

• Amenable to report on-site daily.

• Willing to be assigned in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
