Business Development Specialist

Job Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and driving growth initiatives to achieve our company's objectives. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, generating revenue, and fostering long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients, markets, and opportunities for business expansion.
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing terms to close deals and maximize profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize business strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and build professional networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, marketing strategies, and business development principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
