Job Overview:

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and driving growth initiatives to achieve our company's objectives. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, generating revenue, and fostering long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients, markets, and opportunities for business expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and pricing terms to close deals and maximize profitability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimize business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and build professional networks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, marketing strategies, and business development principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
