Job Summary

The Sourcing Coordinator is primarily responsible for reaching out to potential candidates and introducing them to job opportunities within the organization. The role involves proactive calling, candidate engagement, and initial screening to build strong pipelines of qualified talent. In addition, the Sourcing Coordinator supports the recruitment team by managing candidate records, coordinating communications, and ensuring a smooth recruitment process.


Key Responsibilities
Candidate Outreach & Engagement
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential candidates to introduce job opportunities and assess initial interest.
  • Engage candidates in conversations to understand their qualifications, career preferences, and availability.
  • Provide accurate information about job openings, company culture, and hiring process.
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with candidates to ensure a positive experience.
Sourcing & Pipeline Management
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and internal databases.
  • Build and maintain a pool of active and passive candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Support recruiters by generating qualified leads for hard-to-fill or volume positions.
Screening & Coordination
  • Conduct initial phone screens to validate candidate fit based on basic requirements.
  • Forward qualified candidates to recruiters for further evaluation.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
Database & Reporting
  • Accurately log candidate calls, responses, and outcomes in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruitment tracker.
  • Prepare reports on call activity, candidate pipeline status, and sourcing effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • 0–2 years of experience in sourcing, recruitment coordination, tele-recruitment, or a related role.
  • Comfortable making high-volume calls and engaging with candidates professionally.
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with ATS or recruitment systems is an advantage.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
