Objective of the position
This position is responsible for the review of employees' payroll generated by outsourced party and the timely crediting of payroll to employees' account. Ensure the correctness of net pay, taxes, deductions and social contributions. Record the payroll entries and ensure proper remittances of socials and taxes to government agencies.
The Timekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and timely employee time records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. Ensure the correctness of data
Responsibilities
Operative
- Reviews the payroll instructions regarding the loan deductions and refund, deductions for AR-Health, Ideal Vision, mobile excess usage, and unliquidated cash advances, and social contribution matters.
- High-level review of processed payroll register
- Review final pay processing
- Supports in addressing payroll concerns
- Reviews payroll calendar (should be done prior to change of year)
- Reviews JEs for actual payroll, social contributions, and accrual and reversal of payroll-related matters
- First approver in egov for social contribution remittances
- Review of tax annualization, alphalist, and employee 2316
Administrative
- Performs other duties that maybe assigned and trained as to skills and experience.
- Adherence to the Code of Business Conduct and all subscribed standards.
- May assign adhoc tasks related to payroll
Qualifications
- BS Accountancy Graduate
- With at least 2 year experience in the field of Financial and General Accounting.
- Proven experience as payroll specialist or payroll officer.
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
- Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
- Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
- Average to good communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
