Job Description: Marketing Officer / Assistant Marketing Manager (E-Commerce Platform)

Overview:

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Marketing Officer / Assistant Marketing Manager to co-manage branding initiatives and lead generation strategies for our e-commerce platform. This role will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to drive brand visibility, customer acquisition, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate has strong experience in digital marketing, brand management, and campaign execution within fast-paced online environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Branding & Awareness


• Assist in developing and executing the company's branding strategy across digital channels.


• Ensure brand consistency in messaging, visuals, and customer experience across all campaigns and touchpoints.


• Manage content calendars, creatives, and campaigns in alignment with brand positioning.


• Collaborate with internal teams and agencies for PR, influencer partnerships, and brand collaborations.

Lead Generation & Campaigns


• Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, conversions, and customer retention.


• Optimize paid and organic channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, affiliates, etc.).


• Monitor lead generation funnels and work with the sales team to ensure high-quality leads.


• A/B test campaigns to maximize ROI and conversion rates.

Agency & Team Coordination


• Manage external marketing agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure timely and quality campaign execution.


• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, creative) to align marketing with business objectives.


• Track deliverables, monitor budgets, and ensure campaigns are on-brand and on-strategy.

Analytics & Reporting


• Track and analyze campaign performance across channels.


• Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.


• Prepare regular marketing reports for management on lead generation, traffic, engagement, and ROI.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required Skills


• Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, SEO, Email marketing platforms, etc.).


• Excellent communication and project management skills.


• Creative mindset with strong understanding of branding and content strategy.


• Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CRM dashboards).


• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.


• 2–4 years of marketing experience (for Marketing Officer) or 4–6 years with 1–2 years in a supervisory role (for Assistant Manager).


• Experience in e-commerce or digital-first companies preferred.


• Proven track record in lead generation and brand campaigns.


• Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams.
