We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
General Manager
to lead our cold chain logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. This role is ideal for a proven leader with deep industry expertise, strong business acumen, and the vision to drive operational excellence while ensuring product integrity and compliance.

As General Manager, you will shape strategy, lead a high-performing team, and strengthen client relationships—directly influencing the company's growth and market leadership in the cold chain sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute long-term strategies to strengthen cold chain logistics operations.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Champion innovation, safety, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee transportation, warehousing, and inventory management with a focus on compliance, safety, and efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, driving process improvements that reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
  • Implement best practices in cold storage and refrigerated transport.

Client & Market Growth

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to identify new opportunities and expand market presence.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs proactively and delivering exceptional service.

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

  • Ensure all operations meet or exceed regulatory, licensing, and certification requirements.
  • Maintain quality management systems and uphold product integrity throughout the cold chain.

Financial & Business Management

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of cold chain operations.
  • Drive profitability through cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of logistics professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous development.

Technology & Innovation

  • Leverage new technologies to improve tracking, monitoring, and reporting capabilities.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives that strengthen competitiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / Masters Degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Managerial experience of at least 10 years AND proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in cold chain logistics, with a strong understanding of temperature-controlled storage, transportation, and distribution processes
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role within the logistics industry and with high integrity
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality management systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Meticulous and possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technology savvy and well versed with digital solutions (Microsoft Office Suite) and ERPs
