The Customer Care Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience for our cosmetics brand. This role is responsible for addressing customer inquiries, providing product recommendations, processing orders, handling complaints, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. They serve as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's values of beauty, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Customer Service & Support
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries through phone, email, chat, or social media.
- Provide accurate product information, including usage, benefits, and shade matching.
- Assist customers with order placement, tracking, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring swift resolution.
2. Product Knowledge & Recommendation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all cosmetics products, ingredients, and promotions.
- Suggest appropriate products based on customer skin type, tone, and preferences.
- Promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
3. Order & Database Management
- Process orders accurately using the company's CRM or POS system.
- Maintain and update customer records, purchase history, and feedback logs.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the inventory team for replenishment updates.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases.
- Conduct follow-up calls or messages to ensure satisfaction after purchases or service.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to improve products and services.
5. Teamwork & Coordination
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and logistics teams for smooth customer transactions.
- Participate in training sessions on new product launches and service procedures.
- Support in-store beauty events, product demos, and promotional campaigns.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in cosmetics, retail, or beauty industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of verbal and written English (and local language, if applicable).
- Knowledge of beauty products, skincare, and makeup application is an advantage.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, POS terminals, and MS Office applications.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
