ACCOUNTING OFFICER
Job Description:
- Review financial data and trends for management reports and decisions.
- Deliver precise financial insights to assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Keep accounting records, including journals and ledgers, current and accurate.
- Gather and arrange employee timesheets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Calculate employee work hours accurately and consistently.
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Track individual and team performance using quality monitoring systems.
- Input new employee information into the company database.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to collect data for performance improvement plans.
- Aid in compliance initiatives and reporting needs.
- Support the drafting and documentation of company policies.
- Help maintain transparent and effective communication between the company and employees.
- Support employee safety, welfare, and wellness programs.
- Monitor adherence to quality standards and required formats.
- Answer employee inquiries about compensation, benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare and issue employee payslips.
- Participate in meetings with executive management.
- Coordinate and negotiate with external service providers.
- Find providers to improve and automate financial processes.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Management, Business Administration, Financial Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field
- 6 months to 1 year of accounting-related experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Payroll Accountant
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
- Proficient in manual bookkeeping, including maintaining non-digital journals and ledgers for receivables and payables (Books of Accounts)
- Experienced in processing payroll for 80–100 employees
- Knowledgeable in Labor Laws
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Creative with strong writing proficiency
- Able to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Skilled at executing tasks while managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive with minimal supervision in dynamic situations
- Flexible in adapting to change and capable of efficiently setting or adjusting priorities as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word – intermediate | Excel – expert)
Equipment Requirements:
- Laptop/Desktop (at least i3/i5 processor or any equivalent AMD processor with 8 GB RAM)
- Windows OS: 10 and above
- Computer headset with noise-cancelling feature
- HD Webcam
- Wired internet connection; minimum of 30 mbps DL and 10 mbps UL
- Software: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, PDF reader, Anydesk, Discord, Zoom
