We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 1–2 years of professional experience to support our finance operations. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who have foundational accounting knowledge and are ready to take on more complex tasks, contribute to financial reporting, and grow within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Transaction

  • Support Record and review financial transactions in Xero with accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer billing.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely payments and collections.

Financial Reporting Assistance

  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and internal dashboards.
  • Provide data and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Assist in budget tracking and variance analysis.

Xero System

  • Use Utilize Xero for daily accounting tasks and reporting.
  • Help maintain the chart of accounts and contact lists.
  • Support integration of banking feeds and automation tools.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Assist in preparing tax filings, payroll entries, and statutory reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
  • Stay informed about basic regulatory requirements and support compliance efforts.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm CST

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital collaboration tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Professional-level English communication skills (spoken and written).
