You'll be supporting a leading property management group in Australia that specializes in student accommodation and residential housing. The company manages a large portfolio of properties across major cities, working closely with universities and private investors to deliver high-quality, community-focused living spaces. This role is part of their finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, timely supplier payments, and accurate financial reporting to keep their nationwide operations running efficiently.
What are you expected to do?
- Process and verify vendor invoices, credit notes and payment requests in accordance with company policy and Australian finance standards.
- Match purchase orders, goods-received confirmations and service documents; identify discrepancies and follow up accordingly.
- Schedule and execute payment runs; ensure accuracy, correct currency, remittance details and supplier bank information.
- Maintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger; clear outstanding items; liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks, supplier statement reconciliations, and supporting audit or compliance processes.
- Manage vendor master-file including new vendor onboarding, maintenance of accurate supplier data and ensuring compliance with Australian tax/ABN requirements.
- Work with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the AP function.
- Provide support to other finance or administrative tasks as required, including ad-hoc reporting or cross-team coordination.
Youll be a great fit if:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Business Management, or a related field.
- You have at least 5 years' experience in accounts payable or finance operations, servicing Australian or international business clients.
- You have experience in property management, real-estate or large-scale operations.
- You have proficiency with accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP/AP platforms.You have a solid understanding of invoice processing, payments, vendor reconciliation, and general ledger fundamentals.
- You have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data sorting, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and experience with accounting or ERP systems.
- You have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with remote, cross-country teams.
- You have a high attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong sense of urgency and organisation.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.
