About this role. . .

The Accounts Officer is a critical member of our finance team responsible for managing both the accounts payable and accounts payable functions. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Verify approval on all invoices and check requests.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Handle queries related to accounts payable and respond in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Maintain vendor files and set up new vendor accounts.

About you . . .

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Payable, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge of any accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
