HR Manager (Travel / Booking / Start-up)
to be assigned in Ayala, Makati.

Job Overview

They are looking for a seasoned
HR Manager (Travel / Booking / Start-up)
with the expertise to finalize the setup of the Manila office, onboard the first key hires, and build and lead key people processes (performance reviews, talent planning, engagement, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the GM and Regional Leadership on all People topics
  • Design and implement scalable HR strategies aligned with APAC business goals
  • Ensure full compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across all countries in the region
  • Build and lead key people processes (performance reviews, talent planning, engagement, etc.)
  • Mentor and oversee junior HR team members, including the People Operations Associate
  • Own and continuously improve HR frameworks, policies, and employee experience in APAC
  • Support leadership hiring and succession planning across offices and depots
  • Serve as the regional point of contact between local teams and the global People functions

Required Qualification / Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP or strategic HR role
  • Experience in the travel, logistics, tech, or e-commerce sectors
  • Proven experience supporting multi-country operations, ideally within the APAC region
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Track record of building or scaling HR processes in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including with senior leadership
