Senior Designer

What will you be doing?
Responsibilities
As a
Senior Designer,
you will work within a team of engineers and provide drafting support to any of the business lines in the region, and will be responsible for planning, verifying and executing of projects as assigned. In addition, you will also:

• Prepare proposals for bids and tender inputs.
• Support the Engineers to undertake detailed design and design coordination of works
• Support the Engineers in the day-to-day liaison with the Client, Client's Consultants, Contractors, and the Design Checker to obtain approval of design and drawings.
• Making drawings, specifications and computer models of structures.
• Contribute to conceptualizing and designing for Transportation and Installation projects.
• Ensure preparation of drawings/ deliverables are under quality and HSE standards.
• Attend regular internal meetings and external / third party meetings as required.
• Ensure all drawings/ deliverables is carried out in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
• Participate in drawings-related reviews and audits.
• Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide mentoring, coaching and motivation to subordinates and provide training to personnel new to the systems analyses and design as required.
• And other duties as assigned.
• You are responsible and accountable for the Quality & HSE aspects within your region / department and projects; shall promote QHSE related activities within all operations and ensure compliance to all applicable company QHSE policies, procedures, work systems and regulations.

The position will be based in Cebu, Philippines and you must have the right to live and work in Philippines. Flexibility in working hours may be required. Onsite attendance and client interaction are part of the role.

What are we looking for?
To Excel In This Position, You Will Be An Experienced And Professional Designer With Demonstrable Hands-on Experience In The Shipbuilding And Offshore Engineering Sectors. Proficiency In AutoCAD (2D & 3D) Is Essential. Additionally, You Will Bring

• Diploma in Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years relevant experience.
• AutoCAD 2D, 3D
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Adobe PDF
• Attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
• Results-oriented and client focused.
• Proactive and ability to show initiative in problem solving.
• Influential with business and people acumen.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable

• Bachelor's degree
• Create design drawing and 3D model
• Inventor, Rhino, E3D
• Sense of ownership of work
