Description

This position will be responsible for providing customer training for Cohu's automated test equipment (ATE).  This includes application and maintenance training courses.  The training specialist will also serve as a liaison between customer and all components of the company throughout the process.  This position requires a well-organized, confident and self-disciplined individual who can reflect a proactive service attitude to the customer and represent Cohu to the best advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and evaluate training courses

  • Develop training material for usage on test system instruments

  • Create test program examples to demonstrate instrument functionalities

  • Periodically evaluate ongoing training programs to ensure any and all updates are included

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience (co-op and military experience accepted).

  • BSEE degree is required. or any Engineering dicipline

  • A high level of written and oral communication skills is required.

  • Knowledgeable in instructional design and learning principles.

  • Sound decision making and organizational skills.

  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.

  • Travel required: 15%.
