As a Home Lending Business Management and Controls Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives. Leveraging your advanced understanding of data analytics and automation, you will analyze data sets, and develop innovative solutions and framework to support business strategies. Your expertise in cross-functional collaboration will enable you to work effectively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will be responsible for planning and directing work, making decisions that impact departmental outcomes, and managing complex situations. Your analytical and controls mindset coupled with leadership skills, will be crucial in delivering results that enhance the customer journey and drive the success of our business.
Job responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data sets from varied sources, utilizing data analytics skills to uncover patterns and provide insightful reporting in support of operational and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement automation strategies, leveraging systems architecture knowledge to optimize processes and drive efficiency within the department.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams across the organization to align efforts, share knowledge, and drive the successful implementation of business strategies.
- Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive requests related to business analysis, presentation development, and project management
- Identifies and mitigates risks associated with initiatives
- Prepare and deliver high-impact, data-driven reports and presentations for C-suite executives and global stakeholders.
- Synthesize complex information into actionable insights, highlighting key risks, trends, and opportunities for senior leadership.
- Develop, document, and enhance control frameworks, policies, and procedures to support operational excellence.
- Utilize strategic thinking to evaluate potential scenarios, assess risks, and make informed decisions that have a direct impact on departmental outcomes.
- Provide coaching to team members, empowering them to take ownership of their work and driving a mindset of agility and continuous learning while ensuring objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- Demonstrated ability to conduct data analysis and providing insightful executive reporting to global C-Suite executives and stakeholders, showcasing expertise equivalent to 2+ years of experience.
- Intermediate to advanced level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables), Tableau, Alteryx, UIPath, Python, and Graphic Design Software
- Advanced strategic thinking skills, with a track record of evaluating potential scenarios, assessing risks, and making informed decisions.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional collaboration, with experience in working with diverse teams across an organization.
- Experience in providing coaching and delegation to team members, with a focus on empowering individuals and ensuring efficient achievement of objectives.
- Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Proven experience delivering timely, high quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience in Business Management is a plus
- Knowledge in Finance Management is a plus
- Proficiency in implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Expertise in applying customer service and conflict management skills to understand client needs, resolve stakeholder issues, and facilitate effective collaboration.
- Ability to craft clear and effective prompt writing to guide data analysis and ensure consistent outcomes.
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting team initiatives.
- Competence in technology/process release management, with proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes.
