Overview

Isos Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist This role is full-time that blends standard AR duties with the specific tasks of applying customer payments and facilitating the collection of outstanding accounts, as well as assisting the Accounts Receivable Specialist with preparing client invoices.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

We are looking for a candidate that would be remote based near Cebu, Philippines. This employee would work normal Philippines daylight hours with the exception of attending month-end close and occasional meetings during US daylight hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collections:

  • Conduct proactive outreach via phone and email to client contacts with outstanding invoices.

  • Monitor customer accounts for delayed or missed payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and disputes.

  • Cash Application:

  • Process and apply client payments, reconciling any discrepancies.

  • Prepare and post adjustments and write-offs, with manager approval.

  • Accounts Receivable:

  • Generate and send accurate invoices to clients, as needed.

  • Other:

  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience in collections required; experience with cash application and client invoicing strongly preferred.
  • College coursework in accounting required; Bachelors degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, particularly NetSuite, Google applications, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with data entry and basic accounting procedures.

  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
