JOB SUMMARY:

The Division Merchandising Manager is responsible for driving sales, profitability, and market share growth for assigned categories within the company. This role ensures the achievement of volume and sales objectives, develops merchandising strategies, and oversees execution in the field. The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to optimize category performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure the most competitive prices while ensuring profit margins remain within acceptable limits.
  • Sourcing and recommending new products or services to enhance customer experience and satisfaction, ultimately driving sales and increasing company profits.
  • Developing optimal pricing strategies for each SKU/item based on market trends, competitor pricing and customer preferences
  • Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate retail support for brand enlistment and distribution across stores.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and market innovations to ensure relevant and competitive offerings.
  • Mentor and provide coaching to Buyers and Merchandising Assistants, ensuring excellence in execution and operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • With at least 5-7 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or sales within the retail or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, data analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful merchandising strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Willingness to conduct field visits and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.

Working schedule: Mondays to Fridays - 8:00AM to 6:30PM - Compressed work week system
