We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective merchandising strategies, overseeing product assortments, and ensuring strong brand consistency across various retail environments. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive sales, manage inventory, and optimize store performance.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandise Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make informed decisions.
  • Forecast sales and inventory needs to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Determine product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Monitor inventory performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Vendor Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate new vendors and products to improve offerings.

Store Execution & Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure products are displayed attractively in stores to drive customer interest.
  • Monitor store inventory and adjust displays to maximize sales.
  • Work with store personnel to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans.

Sales Performance

  • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve revenue goals.
  • Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to drive sales and profitability.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Familiarity with the luxury retail, fashion, or high-end brand industry is a plus.
  • Experience in SM consignment and other department stores is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and using insights to drive merchandising decisions.
  • Ability to develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and brand awareness.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Highly creative, with an eye for visual merchandising and store layout optimization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and pricing strategies.
  • Must be residing in Manila or willing to relocate to Binondo.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
