We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Accounts Payable (AP) Head to lead and optimize our payables function. This role requires strong leadership, keen attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting processes. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and improving operational efficiency within the Accounting Department.
Key Responsibilities: Invoice & Payment Oversight: Manage the end-to-end AP process, ensuring accurate invoice validation, payment scheduling, and disbursement. Vendor & Relationship Management: Maintain healthy supplier relationships, resolve payment disputes, negotiate terms, and handle overdue accounts. Account Reconciliation & Accuracy: Reconcile AP ledgers, verify payment records, and investigate discrepancies with a high level of precision.
Reporting & Monitoring: Generate and analyze AP reports, monitor account aging, and present insights to leadership. Policy Compliance & Controls: Enforce internal controls, company policies, and ensure alignment with accounting standards. Process Improvement & Planning: Continuously assess and enhance AP workflows, propose automation or efficiency improvements, and support strategic planning.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the AP team; delegate tasks effectively and ensure high performance and professional growth. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Knowledge of accounting fundamentals, business operations, and ERP systems
Proficient in spreadsheets and accounting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, reporting, organization, and time management
Capable in leadership, interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution
High attention to detail, work ethic, and professionalism
Experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, vendor management, or team supervision is a strong advantage—but not required. We welcome motivated, driven individuals ready to step up and lead.
