Assistant Compliance Manager

Essential Functions:

  • Review and apply relevant BIR issuances, while staying updated on the latest BIR developments.
  • Support the accounting team during BIR examinations, addressing tax concerns and ensuring required documents are provided.
  • Prepare responses to BIR NOD/ PAN/FLD.
  • Review SEC 17Q, 17A reports, and TIEZA compliance documents.
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of reports to BIR, SEC, and PSE, while staying informed of new regulations and rulings.
  • Oversee the accounting system, ensuring registration and ongoing compliance with BIR requirements.
  • Establish and document the accounting department's policies and procedures.
  • Track compliance with monthly tax filings and day-to-day tax obligations for the company.
  • Manage and maintain tax-related documentation.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • With experience in using or any accounting system
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
  • Knowledge in Tax updates
  • Must be analytical and result oriented
  • Has a solid knowledge in accounting principles
