Job Description: Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer is responsible for supporting the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting in project development initiatives within the solar energy industry. This role offers exposure to EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), PPA (Power Purchase Agreements), and O&M (Operations and Maintenance) business models.

Ideal for a fresh graduate with strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills, this position provides an excellent foundation for a career in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct research on potential markets, clients, and industry trends in the solar and renewable energy sectors.
  • Analyze competitors and develop actionable insights to support business strategies.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for management decision-making.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building

  • Identify potential clients, project partners, and new business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and quotations for EPC, PPA, and O&M projects.
  • Support in maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and follow-ups.

Sales & Project Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams to develop business proposals, contracts, and marketing materials.
  • Track and manage leads and opportunities in the sales pipeline.
  • Assist in project documentation, client coordination, and monitoring activities.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Coordinate meetings and discussions with government agencies, suppliers, and other strategic partners.
  • Represent the company in networking events, exhibitions, and business forums.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare periodic business development reports and performance summaries.
  • Maintain organized records of leads, proposals, contracts, and communications.
  • Support management in implementing business development policies and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Graduates from top universities in the Philippines are recommended but not required.
  • Experience: Open to fresh graduates; internship experience in business development, sales, marketing, or project management (preferably in renewable energy or construction) is an advantage.
