Your Role in Action
Be part of our client's team as an AU Accounts Payroll Assistant and support finance and department operations including supplier invoicing, accounts payable, payroll processing, and assisting the Accounts & Billing Officer. You'll ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance, and seamless operational processes.

Shift: Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (WA time, same as PH time)
Work setup: Hybrid, Makati (2-3 days in the office)

What You'll Bring
- 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounts administration (4 years maximum)
- Certificate or tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping
- Previous experience in finance or accounts administration
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and handle confidential information
- Commitment to compliance, continuous improvement, and company values
- Experience with Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation
- Strong proficiency in Xero
Highly Desired:
- Experience with Employment Hero, Salesforce, AirWallex, and Dext
- Previous AP/AR/payroll administration experience
Your Day-to-Day Impact
Procure to Pay
- Manage end-to-end AP processing from purchase order to supplier payment
- Distribute invoices for approval and monitor AP inbox
- Review and process transactions via AirWallex and Dext for accuracy
- Reconcile supplier/vendor payments and maintain general ledger
- Handle AP enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure accurate recording of costs impacting department budgets
Payroll
- Process fortnightly payroll including onboarding and offboarding employees
- Maintain rosters in the Time and Attendance system
- Process superannuation, payroll tax, and child support returns
- Handle apprenticeship and workers compensation claims
- Reconcile payroll clearing accounts and creditor payments
- Conduct annual minimum wage audits
Order to Cash
- Provide backup support to the Accounts & Billing Officer
- Validate/enter purchase orders in Salesforce and follow up discrepancies
- Manage accounts receivable end-to-end, including overdue follow-ups
- Process customer credit applications and support tender documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations for AR accounts
- Manage contractual invoicing processes (East Coast projects, data plans, Argyle invoicing)
- Prepare annual price book review for Financial Controller
Other Finance Duties
- Compile timesheet reports using Employment Hero
- Send reminders for timesheet submissions
- Prepare monthly payroll tax calculations and journal entries in Xero
- Assist with R&D cost schedule preparation
- Maintain and review the Fixed Asset Register and post depreciation entries
- Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives
