Job Description:

As a Loan Administrator, you will provide expert support to broker networks by managing loan lodgements, resolving product and policy issues, and ensuring seamless communication with lenders. Your role ensures accurate documentation, reliable advice, and impactful contributions to the real estate lending process.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential lending
• At least 1 year of administrative support experience in the AU mortgage industry, including credit management
• Hands-on experience with loan lodgement processes
• Proficient in ApplyOnline and property valuation tools (CoreLogic)
• Strong understanding of lending terminology, policies, and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong task prioritization and ability to manage shifting deadlines
• Self-managed with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Critical thinker with a proactive approach
• Professional, personable, and relationship-focused
• Team player with a results-driven mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management) or equivalent is highly preferred

Your Daily Tasks

• Interpret, clarify, and implement product changes in the product catalogue and policy changes in the lender policy database
• Provide support to the broker network through email, telephone, and the Lending Advice Forum, addressing inquiries about the effective use of broker systems
• Offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and support to the broker network, helping them understand policies, navigate complex scenarios, and structure deals
• Troubleshoot product and policy issues as they arise
• Communicate with lenders for updates and changes to the franchise network
