About the role

We're looking for an Asana Expert with at least 3 years of hands-on experience to help a horticulture client tighten execution and keep teams aligned. Early focus is on change management and simple, reliable processes—no bells and whistles yet. As you learn the business, you'll introduce integrations and smart automations.

Initial Role Focus (first 90 days)

  • 70% — Change management: spot gaps, set simple standards, enforce accountability, drive adoption across teams
  • 20% — Integration support & training: connect basic tools, run short trainings for senior leadership and team leads
  • 10% — Foundation tweaking: tidy boards, templates, fields, and workflows so the system is simple and consistently used

What you'll do

  • Drive adoption and accountability across teams (spot gaps, simplify flows, enforce updates)
  • Keep Asana boards and tasks consistently tracked and up to date
  • Provide clear training to senior leadership and team leads
  • Support integrations and automations; scale into advanced builds over time
  • Tweak the current foundation so the system is simple and consistent (not complex and abandoned)

Must-haves

  • 3+ years deep Asana experience (admin level preferred)
  • Portfolio of Asana samples: customizations, templates, automations, integrations you introduced
  • Strong change management skills: driving usage, setting standards, holding owners accountable
  • Confident trainer and communicator with senior stakeholders
  • Can work NZST hours; remote, BYOD, minimum 10 Mbps stable internet, plus backup device and backup connection

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience integrating Asana with Google Workspace, Slack, Zapier/Make

Process mapping, SOP creation, basic reporting

Compensation: To be discussed based on experience (contract)
