The Role This isn’t your typical fast-paced startup role — it’s a steady, flexible position ideal for someone who values work-life balance and long-term stability. You’ll handle day-to-day IT support, assist in backend systems, databases, application troubleshooting, and SharePoint administration, ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. Key Responsibilities Business as Usual (BAU) IT Support Manage daily IT operations and ensure smooth system performance. Monitor system logs, identify issues, and resolve them proactively. Respond to user queries with clear, supportive solutions. Provide technical assistance to staff with varying technical expertise. Technical Development & Database Management SQL & Database: Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries; ensure data integrity and performance. Application Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve Node.js and SQL-related issues. System Integration: Support integration across tools such as Xplan, SharePoint, Asana, and Xero. Skills & Experience Strong SQL knowledge and experience with SQL-based web applications. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Nice to Have Experience in Google Cloud or AI/API integrations. Exposure to SharePoint administration and Excel macros. Experience with document automation (e.g., Word templates). Personal Attributes Detail-oriented with a calm, proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communicator — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
