Onsite Job – Accounting Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including managing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax reporting, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy and integrity in financial records and compliance with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Ensure timely and accurate closing of the books.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processes.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Coordinate audits and prepare required audit schedules and documentation.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff performance.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, and banks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Amenable to work in onsite, 7th Street, Brgy. Lakandula, Mabalacat City, Pampanga

The salary for this position is open to negotiation, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
