We are looking for an exceptional AWS Senior Cloud Developer to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong software engineering skills with deep cloud expertise and enjoys leading technical initiatives across modern cloud ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Design

  • Architect end-to-end cloud solutions focused on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Create detailed cloud architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Development & Deployment

  • Build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS and other cloud services.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and infrastructure management using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent.

Security, Governance & Compliance

  • Implement robust security controls aligned with industry standards.
  • Conduct periodic security reviews, audits, and cloud configuration assessments.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor infrastructure and resolve performance gaps across applications and services.
  • Drive cost-optimization strategies for efficient cloud resource usage.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Product teams to align cloud solutions with business needs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and help elevate cloud engineering practices across the organization.

Troubleshooting & Support

  • Provide expert-level support for complex cloud issues and incident resolutions.
  • Enhance and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and frameworks.
  • Recommend improvements to tools, architecture, and processes to advance cloud maturity.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong cloud engineering background.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, Go, or similar languages.
  • Strong foundation in compute, storage, networking, security, and database cloud services.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization/orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Solid experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Must have an AWS certification, either from AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Generative AI Developer Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Solutions Architect Professional.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php100,000.00 per month
