General Responsibilities (Applicable to all roles)

The core of our accounting team ensures the financial health and integrity of the communities we serve. Key responsibilities include:

· Maintaining accurate and comprehensive financial records in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

· Assisting with or performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures.

· Performing regular bank reconciliations for multiple client accounts to ensure accuracy.

· Supporting the annual budget preparation process for various associations.

· Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

· Ensuring compliance with association bylaws and relevant state/federal regulations.

I. Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager, you will lead our accounting department, providing strategic oversight and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial operations. You will be a key partner to our community managers and association boards.

Specific Duties:

· Oversee all activities of the accounting department, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger functions.

· Manage and mentor the accounting team, including the Accounts Payable Manager and Accounting Assistant(s).

· Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows) for multiple client associations.

· Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with community managers and boards.

· Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard client assets and ensure compliance.

· Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax professionals.

· Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and client boards.

· Manage complex accounting tasks, including fund accounting (Operating, Reserve, etc.) and special assessments.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

· Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.

· Skills:

o In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

o Proven leadership and team management skills.

o Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

o Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Odoo, AvidStrongRoom, QuickBooks), advanced Google workspace and advanced MS Excel skills.

· Preferred: CPA designation; direct experience in HOA/condominium or property management accounting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php50,000.00 per month
