Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Below are the required skills.

Client-Facing:

  • Email clients to as for information needed to complete their bookkeeping
  • Join team calls with video and audio on

Technical:

  • Process AR/AP
  • Review AR and AP completed by junior bookkeepers
  • Sales tax payments, other state and federal taxes (not IRS annual taxes)
  • Bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Accrual and Cash Basis Accounting
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Executive financial reporting
  • Worker's Compensation Audits
  • 1099s and W-2s
  • Depreciation, Debt Schedules, and Amortization

People Management:

  • Manage, train, and coach junior team members on technical skills
  • Teach junior people to manage client relationships and other soft skills
  • Oversee remote employees

Process:

  • Use ClickUp, Slack, Zoom, and other modern tools to make work easier and simpler
  • Read Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to help you get up to speed and ensure repeatable, high-quality results
  • Create SOPs for new activities and, as necessary.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of recent Bookkeeping experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a US public accounting firm or company
  • 2 years of recent experience in managing (not just supervising) people
  • Comfortable with AR and AP
  • Client industry: construction, B2B services, heavy asset companies
  • Have a strong, consistent home internet connection and a work environment conducive to video and phone calls (if remote)

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Lots of experience with job costing
  • Advanced QuickBooks Certification
  • Bachelor's or higher in Accounting
  • Experience with extensive clean-up and onboarding

COMPENSATION + BENEFITS

  • $1,000 to $1,800 per month

Pay: Php60, Php90,000.00 per month
