What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems
  • Identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions in building systems, ensuring they are running at optimal performance
  • Implement energy-efficient strategies and monitor building performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute building upgrades and renovations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of building systems and maintenance activities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to facility management and occupants

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Building Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Experience with implementing energy-efficient strategies and sustainability initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with building automation systems and related software
