  1. Supervise the operations and maintenance of the building systems of the hotel property (building management, air conditioning, fire detection and alarm, fire protection, water systems, generator set, etc)
  2. Supervise and control implementation of preventive maintenance program, provides checklist for better monitoring.
  3. Responsible for the management and monitoring of all service calls (repairs and preventive measures);
  4. Responsible for the inventory and monitoring of all engineering stock items and materials needed (maintenance parts, etc)
  5. Carries out administrative/clerical duties where technical concerns are involved, including liaison to different government agencies local and national.
  6. Initiate, prepare and supervise the preparation of engineering studies on building facility improvement, safety, energy management and upgrading.
  7. Coordinate in providing in-house estimates for repairs, constructions and renovations.
  8. Plan the schedule and responsibilities of the subordinates (maintenance staff) to achieve maximum efficiency as well as conducting meetings to discuss various issues on cleanliness, maintenance and evaluation of their performance that adheres to the hotel property standards.
  9. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance of the building, its facilities and equipment's.
  10. Discuss with the Regional Engineering Manager and/or the property head the various recommendations that pertain to repairs, renovations, improvements and beautification of the building and its surroundings.
  11. Always on-call in case of emergency.
  12. Perform other task that maybe required from time to time.
