Overview

The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data from various sources to identify trends in market performance, customer behavior, and the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. This includes using statistical tools and methods to process and interpret large datasets, as well as leveraging BI platforms to create clear and actionable visualizations. The role collaborates closely with the marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders to transform raw data into insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Database Management: Ensure the overall health of the database, including improving and maintaining data accuracy, managing imports, ensuring record uniqueness in the CRM, and implementing effective segmentation strategies.
  • ABM Research: Develop account dossiers by gathering insights and data on target accounts to support personalized marketing and sales strategies.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Build reports and dashboards to present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
  • Data Analysis: Examine large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform marketing strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and influence stakeholders, ensuring business needs are addressed while building strong relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing Operations, Campaigns, Design, and Content teams to analyze gaps and uncover opportunities.
  • Campaign Optimization: Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize campaigns using data-driven insights, including refining targeting, messaging, and budget allocation.
  • People Management: Mentor and guide data associates, supporting their growth and development.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in marketing analytics or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data to deliver meaningful insights.
  • Knowledge of marketing metrics, customer segmentation, and campaign performance measurement.
  • Proficiency with databases, visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex findings to stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring or guiding junior analysts.
  • Solid business acumen, with an understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in onboarding and training analysts is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Amenable to a hybrid setup requiring onsite work twice a week.
  • Flexible to work across both APAC and US shifts.
