Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Data Analyst Team Lead to manage and support a team of data analysts in ensuring consistent performance, operational excellence, and stakeholder satisfaction. This role involves both people management and hands-on process oversight, fostering continuous improvement and driving high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

People & Process Management

  • Train team members on SOPs, tools, policies, and performance expectations.
  • Monitor daily performance and project compliance using tools like Airtable and other reporting platforms.
  • Generate and present reports to support service-level reviews and team performance evaluations.
  • Distribute workloads effectively among team members to ensure balanced task allocation.
  • Conduct daily huddles to set priorities, discuss deadlines, and resolve operational issues.
  • Coach team members through regular 1:1 sessions, giving constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Recognize and reward high-performing individuals through monthly R&R (Rewards and Recognition) activities.
  • Address behavioral or policy violations by preparing incident reports and collaborating with HR on disciplinary actions.
  • Review and approve team member leave requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to ensure team-wide understanding of best practices.
  • Lead service recovery initiatives and continuous process improvement strategies.
  • Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
  • Interview, hire, and onboard new team members effectively.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for operational concerns from Area Managers, Client Managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Escalate critical issues to upper management with context and recommended solutions.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to align on process standards and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve inter-team issues and remove blockers.
  • Proactively maintain open, clear, and positive communication channels with stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Team Leader or in a similar leadership capacity.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to assess problems and make sound decisions.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Skilled in multitasking and managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, mentor, and motivate team members.
