Marketing Management Trainee

  • Liason and develop strong relations with international and or local buyers for the company.
  • Determine the market needs of each buyer, their marketing plan for the product development team
  • Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives.
  • Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stocks.
  • Collaborate with buyers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and delivery.
  • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.
  • For the Local market, monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
  • Produce layout plans for showroom/ stores and update store ambiance.
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  • Remain up to date with industry's best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience/talent in export/local merchandising/marketing
  • Applicants with extensive experience may be considered for higher or senior-level positions
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target markets/buyer/ audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Computer Proficient ( Microsoft Word, Powepoint, Excel etc.)
  • Preferably, with experience in product development
  • Innovative,good taste
  • Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to "decode" customers
  • BS degree in Marketing, Product development or related field
  • Applicants shall be willing to work in Las Pinas City, Metro Manila
