Role Overview

The Marketing Communications Manager will oversee Ascend's global brands and communications strategy, ensuring strong market positioning and alignment with international partners. This role combines strategic marketing, PR, and corporate communications, with a focus on building brand presence, driving engagement, and supporting business growth. The Manager will oversee a Marketing Associate and work with creative partners, the Product Development Manager, and global suppliers on campaigns, product launches, exhibitions, and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Marketing Leadership

• Develop and implement the overall brand and marketing communications strategy for Ascend's selected global brands.
• Manage brand positioning and campaigns in alignment with product and business goals.
• Oversee cost-effective social media, PR, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communications and platforms.

Corporate Communications & PR

• Lead corporate communications, including PR, press releases, newsletters, and official statements.
• Manage brand collaborations and strategic partnerships to expand reach and visibility.
• Strengthen relationships with media partners, industry stakeholders, and trade associations.

Content & Product Launches

• Supervise project photo/video shoots for marketing campaigns, case studies, and product showcases.
• Plan and direct the execution of new product launches in coordination with the Product Development Manager.

Exhibitions & Events

• Lead Ascend's participation in exhibitions, trade shows, and presentations.
• Manage store launch marketing campaigns and dealer activations.

Partnerships & Global Collaboration

• Maintain and grow strong working relationships with foreign brand partners.
• Represent Ascend in international supplier meetings, exhibitions, and training sessions.
• Align local campaigns with global partner branding and marketing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, PR, or brand management (construction/building materials or premium consumer brands preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to manage campaigns, partnerships, and creative outputs.
• Willing to travel abroad; on-site work in Las Piñas or BGC required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
