DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Sources from list of accredited suppliers/sub-contractors and sends Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the materials, products and services needed by the requesting departments.

  2. Prepares Purchase Order (PO) on SAP system based on approved Canvass Sheet (CS) and routes for approval.

  3. Ensures timely, quality, accurate and complete deliveries from suppliers to project sites and office warehouse.

  4. Manages and resolves issues or escalates to Supervisor accordingly.

  5. Maintains updated records of PO's and Contracts.

  6. Coordinates with local suppliers for purchased materials and equipment.

  7. Facilitates the documentation towards request of payment for completed transaction.

  8. Ensures compliance to company health, safety and environmental standards.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in any Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related fields.

  2. Minimum five (5) years of procurement experience; three (3) years of which as Procurement Assistant capacity in construction industry.

  3. Strong sense of time management and self-improvement.

  4. Able to perform productively while under pressure.

  5. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiatives.
