What you'll be doing

  • Conduct structural analyses and design calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of building structures
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to develop detailed structural plans and specifications
  • Oversee the implementation of structural designs on construction sites, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Identify and troubleshoot structural issues, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, drawings, and documentation to support project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional registration as a Structural Engineer or Chartered Engineer
  • PRC Licence is required for professional registration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and project management within the construction industry
  • Proficient in the use of structural design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
