1. Detailed Drafting & Engineering Support
  • Prepare complex shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cut lists, and assembly details for aluminum and glass systems.
  • Develop detailed profile sections, connection details, anchorage systems, and hardware configurations.
  • Interpret and translate architectural and structural drawings into accurate detailing packages.
2. Technical Coordination
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Attend coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and clients when required.
  • Identify conflicts, discrepancies, or design challenges early and propose workable solutions.
3. Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and relevant building codes.
  • Verify structural and functional compatibility of systems (e.g., thermal break, water/air tightness, load requirements).
  • Review material specifications, profile selections, hardware schedules, and glass configurations for accuracy.
4. Production & Installation Support
  • Prepare cutting lists, bill of materials (BOM), CNC files (if applicable), and assembly instructions for production teams.
  • Provide technical support to fabrication and site installation teams.
  • Update drawings and issue revisions based on site conditions, engineering updates, or client comments.
5. Documentation & Leadership
  • Maintain organized drawing records, revision histories, and project documents.
  • Mentor and guide Junior Detailers and CAD Operators.
  • Assist in standardizing detailing templates and improving drafting processes.
