Job Description

  • Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, and logistics partners.
  • Grow existing accounts by ensuring service quality, client satisfaction, and long-term retention.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and targeted lead generation.
  • Execute sales and marketing initiatives to promote and position cargo services effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
  • Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor shipment performance, address service concerns, and coordinate quick resolutions.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient cargo handling and timely delivery.
  • Stay updated on market trends, regulations, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights to enhance sales strategies and overall operational performance.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with HQ pricing, customer service, and support teams for ad-hoc requests and opportunities.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related fields (preferred but not required).
  • 2–3 years of sales experience, ideally within the airline, cargo, or freight forwarding industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue and sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of air cargo products, logistics operations, and freight market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team player with a proactive and customer-centric sales approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant sales/CRM tools.
