About the role

As the Accounting Manager at BENSON INDUSTRIAL COLD STORAGE INC.', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes. This full-time position is based in Paranaque City Metro Manila and will involve managing a team of accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial records and statements.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  • Managing the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices
  • Providing financial guidance and support to other departments within the organisation
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing the accounting team

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar Accounting Manager or senior-level accounting role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles, including IFRS or GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a team of accounting professionals
  • Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or ACCA, is highly desirable
