IT Business Analyst

The IT Business Analyst plays a crucial role in facilitating communication between business stakeholders and IT teams. They are responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying technology solutions, and managing the full project lifecycle to ensure that IT projects meet the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand business needs.
• Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive technical specifications that can be understood by IT teams.
• Assess existing and emerging products or technologies to determine their suitability for addressing business challenges and achieving strategic goals.
• Assess requirements against product features, capability and customization feasibility to decide which ones can be implemented or accommodated
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction through technology solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams, architects, and developers to design technology solutions that align with business needs and adhere to technical standards.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle with the Project Manager, including project planning, scope management, tracking progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and execute test plans, ensure thorough testing of solutions, and verify that the final product meets specified requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain effective communication with both business and IT stakeholders, keeping them informed about project status, changes, and potential risks.
• Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure the smooth adoption of new processes or technologies.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of new systems or technologies.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to identify opportunities for further optimization and improvement.
• Manage client stakeholders with minimal to no intervention from management or executives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or any related field
• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst with a strong track record of successful projects and process improvements
• Experience in implementing HCM platforms or application is an advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Knowledge in HR industry processes, practices especially Philippine Payroll is an advantage
• Familiarity with relevant software and technology solutions in the industry.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP), Project Management (e.g., PMP), or relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
• Adaptability and a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices in both business analysis and IT.

Experience: at least 3 years of experience in business analysis with a focus on IT projects and technology solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
